At The Freshfield Woodsmith we create bespoke furniture from our workshop in the High Weald National Landscape, half way between Lindfield and Horsted Keynes. 

 

Every piece of furniture is hand-crafted by us, ensuring quality, consistency and care at every stage. Whether you commission us to create some beautiful cabinets, a table to gather your family around, or a show-stopping piece of furniture for your commercial venture, we tailor each design to suit your style, space, and way of living or working.

 

We love crafting stand-alone pieces that can be moved around your home and down the generations, and believe that good furniture really belongs in the family. We take our time to get a feel for the space your furniture will inhabit, and to listen to your needs and style preferences.

 

The Freshfield Woodsmith team love the traditions and beauty of the ancient landscape of the High Weald and work with clients across the area and beyond, from Danehill and Ardingly down to Hurspierpoint, Chailey and further afield.

 

In his spare time Dan volunteers at the Bluebell Railway, loves excellent coffee and reads an excessive amount of books (that even they don’t have enough book cases for)! When she’s not organising everything behind the scenes, Jenny loves to go for long walks and potter in the garden. Together they build their business, raise a young family and enjoy being part of their local church.
